Kia ora, I'm Jared.

I'm a Wellington-based filmmaker and the real human behind Quite Nice Films. Since 2012, I've been producing videos for businesses, government agencies and organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand.

My work covers documentary, commercial and corporate video production, from promotional campaigns and brand stories to interviews, educational content and long-running video series. I look after projects from the initial planning and scripting through to filming, editing, colour grading and final delivery.

Over the years, I've worked with clients including the New Zealand Mountain Safety Council, Royal Society Te Apārangi, Stats NZ and a range of commercial brands. I enjoy getting to know the people and places behind each project, understanding what needs to be communicated and finding the best way to tell their story, no matter what screen it is viewed on.

Every project is different, and I can bring together the right people, equipment and approach to suit what's needed. Whether you're planning a single video or a larger series, I'm happy to get involved early, help shape the ideas and see the production through to completion.
